Registration

No paper registration forms this year and no more texts from Steve! This year club registration will all be done through PlayHQ, including paying the annual membership fee and we will be using Spond to manage training and competitions, including the ability to pay for weekly training sessions using the Spond app.

There are two simple steps to follow:

1. Register with Basketball England using PlayHQ and pay your annual Basketball England and club membership fees
2. Sign up to the club using Spond. Once admitted into the club you should receive an invite to your first training session about 3 days in advance

The PlayHQ site requires that you use the specific Comets link below. There is a guide to the registration process here: 

An adult parent or guardian must first create an account on PlayHQ and before adding junior players.

This year the Comets Annual membership fee is £30 in addition to the Basketball England registration fee plus a session fee of £5 with a reduction for siblings.

The PlayHQ link will be active from 1st August 2026 (please don't try to register before then) 

Once you have registered with Basketball England using PlayHQ, sign up to the Culm Valley Comets with Spond.
