CLUB INFORMATION

We are a non profit making community club based in the Culm Valley and were formed in 2005. The club is for children and young people, aged 8 to 18 years (both boys and girls).

The club has over 80 playing members of which between a quarter and one third are girls (depending on the age band).

Training takes place at the Uffculme School Sports Hall

The Club has an annual membership fee of £20.Weekly session charges are as follows:

U12s: £4.00
U14s, U16s and U19s: £5.00

A competition fee of £5 is payable when we host tournaments against other teams and for the league finals in April.

Members are requested to register with Basketball England and pay their player license fees. Registration is required for players to be eligible to play in tournaments. 

The club is fully registered and insured with England Basketball: registration number CA2809

All adults working directly with children are DBS (enhanced) checked.

The club provides all the necessary equipment and team strips (blue & orange for juniors and black & orange for seniors).

The club encourages parents/guardians/carers to get involved with the club as much as possible at both training sessions, competitions and with the organisation of the Club.

No experience is needed to join in the fun.

If you would like to join the session then please wear appropriate clothing and non marking shoes. Also bring something to drink (preferably water) in a non spill container.

Please ensure that children arrive for and are collected promptly from all training sessions and matches as the venues are shared facilities with the community.
